Poplar buds, also known as cottonwood, are the resinous and aromatic buds that grow on various species of poplar trees, primarily in the Northern Hemisphere.

Poplar buds contain compounds that have been used topically to potentially alleviate pain and reduce inflammation in muscles. Some research suggests that poplar bud extract may promote skin healing and regeneration. Its' extract has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe irritated or inflamed skin. It helps to repair damaged skin and improve overall skin health. This is why it is also great for rashes and inflammation on the skin. It can be applied to minor cuts, burns, insect bites, and skin irritations.

This salve is made with beeswax, which is an excellent emollient. Beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin, sealing in moisture and preventing water loss. This helps to keep the skin hydrated and moisturized, particularly in dry or harsh environments. Beeswax contains vitamin A, which promotes cell regeneration and wound healing. It can help soothe and heal minor cuts, scrapes, burns, and insect bites, accelerating the healing process and reducing the risk of infection.

Ingredients: Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Populus Alba (White Poplar bud Maranta arundinacea (Arrowroot) Alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E)
