Burdock root contains anti-inflammatory compounds which can help reduce inflammation and soothe irritated or inflamed skin.

It also contains compounds such as tannins and mucilage, which promote wound healing and tissue regeneration. This can help speed up the healing process for cuts, scrapes, and minor skin injuries.  

This salve is made with beeswax, which is an excellent emollient. Beeswax forms a protective barrier on the skin, sealing in moisture and preventing water loss.
