Our reason.
This line was created from a need to have refined, toxin free skincare that was formulated with only clean and ingredients. Almost everything that has been created synthetically, for skincare, can be found naturally. The vision for this brand, upon creation, was to formulate skincare that was extremely intentional. We did not want to add any ingredients that were truly unnecessary. This included thickeners, added colors, fragrance, or components to make oils "less oily". We let the plants and herbs "do their job".
We are allergy friendly.
We wanted and needed a brand that was suitable for sensitive skin not only in ingredients, but also in the amount of ingredients. Many products are packed full of great ingredients, but they have too many of those great ingredients. Those with skin allergies can not hope to determine what our skin may be reacting to this way. We also made it our mission to eliminate nut oils and all of the top 8 allergens from our line.
Founders Story
After my pregnancies I broke out into horrible cystic acne. I initially tried using products that I had used since my teenage years, but they simply were not making a difference. I was limited on what I could try as myself and my children have extremely sensitive skin. Most commercial products don't agree with us and I found it incredibly frustrating trying to understand all of the ingredients and pinpoint what we reacted to the most.
I had been studying herbs for several years at this point, so I decided to take a natural approach. I believe that everything mother nature has given us, is for a purpose. I want to bring back the remedies of old and show that there is more to effective skincare than multiple ingredients. Sometimes what we need is less.
